This document is a joint publication of the Asian Transport Observatory (ATO), Society of Transport Engineers Nepal (SOTEN), and the United Nations Centre for Regional Development (UNCRD). The collaboration brought together expertise in data collection, validation, analysis, and report development to present a comprehensive overview of Nepal’s transport sector.

The report was further supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), reinforcing a shared commitment toward advancing sustainable, safe, and resilient transport systems in Nepal.
