The knowledge sharing session focused on the transport sector and benchmarked Nepal against other countries in the Asia-Pacific region. It analyzed data trends and policies related to climate change mitigation and adaptation. The presentation showcased key storylines that explore the drivers of the transport sector and their impact on CO2 emissions intensity, energy consumption intensity, modal share, and infrastructure resilience. The presentation also highlights key trends in EV and public transport subsector. Additionally, it outlined emerging trends in the country's policy landscape at the nexus of climate change and transport.
