The knowledge sharing session focused on the transport sector and benchmarked Nepal against other countries in the Asia-Pacific region. It analyzed data trends and policies related to climate change mitigation and adaptation. The presentation showcased key storylines that explore the drivers of the transport sector and their impact on CO2 emissions intensity, energy consumption intensity, modal share, and infrastructure resilience. The presentation also highlights key trends in EV and public transport subsector. Additionally, it outlined emerging trends in the country's policy landscape at the nexus of climate change and transport.

At Asian Transport Outlook (ATO), funded by the ADB and AIIB, Adwait handled comprehensive data collection and analysis for 51 economies and 460 cities, contributing to reports, knowledge products and presenting at several conferences and workshops. He has also facilitated training for the UNCRD’s EST processes. Adwait's expertise includes performance assessment systems and urban infrastructure planning, with experience at AIILSG and WRI. He has also conducted stakeholder consultation and hand-holding workshops for Smart City and Housing for All projects in India.
